For Departments who have higher entry requirements (such as the Management School and Economics), they will be looking for students from the top 100 (possibly the top 200 if in a relevant subject) universities, 211/985 institutions and top 100 colleges in China.
\Again, the GPA or percentage we are looking for will differ, depending on Department. In general, we look for a GPA of 3.0 or above out of 4.0 (75%) from the best institutions (211/985 and top 100), 80% for the top 101-300, and for the top 100 colleges, we generally ask for 85% or above. Some Departments may differ in the entry requirements they ask.
Students from institutions outside of these rankings will generally be rejected. However please note that some Departments will differ in their entry requirements and students will be considered on a case by case basis.
